Angelo Buono Jr. was sentenced to life in 1989 after he was found guilty of murdering and raping Ramirez’s ex-boyfriend. Ramirez also received life sentences for a number of other crimes. Ramirez was also the son of a Vietnam War veteran. Following the killings of four Vietnamese females, Ramirez had a series of violent outbursts, including the abduction and rape of two Vietnamese girls.
